Okay since the website hasnt been populated in a while (been watching the stats) i am going to get this website backup and going and have some new ideas in town to get it up and going. One we are going to still have the same theme for the blog but new addons and also alot more posting since its almost summer WOOT. I am goign to start writing how to s and test out some new distros and also some unix based distros WOOT and write about them here. The main site is going to have a long list of some new stuff including upload manager and also some new programming stuff. I am goign to add a world of warcraft blog since i love playing the game alot and also its my number one favorite. Okay after being on Hardy Heron for over a month now I LOVE IT!!! Well not exactly loving it but i like it better than gusty now . I still think it is a little bit bloated for running on a laptop with 1gb of ram and 1.73 ghz dual core but once the finall release comes out i think it is going to be perfect. Okay Now to some of the problems

Problems

• If you have automounted NFS directories like i do thunar/what ever file browser you use automatically pops up every single time you login and load the desktop or when they are mounted which i think is very anyoing if you have about 6 of them like i do.
• Seems still that there are tons of problems with firefox. Seems to be a resource hog and usually freezes up X for me.
• The menu seems to be loading slower which it not a plus but i am just picky about it.
• The new clock sometimes actually crashes gnome-panel which then has to be killed via terminal which gets to be a pain in the butt after a while.
• The set pic as desktop background is actually broken for me for some reason has never worked at all.

Plus

• My sound worked out fo the box with hardy which i thought was extremely awesome since back in gutsy and fiesty i had to add this code then type about 3 commands to get my sound working which was a pain in the ass.
• The screen resolution actually started out right and didnt half to modify anything
• My wireless kicks some ass now connects way faster and also i can now hack my wep code when i need to but least wpa2-psk worked out of the box.
• The brand new apps are actually a nice plus but i wish they still had where you can choose what programs to install when you actually install the distro that would be nice .

Thats mostly my look on hardy. I will tell you more in a couple of days.

Okay I have been extremely busy lately with some Drivers ed stuff that is from like 2:45 to 4:30 so i havnt had much time working on the site lately. We have found a new theme and it is pretty bland right now but i am going to switch some colors and also get some new linux stuff on here. Well besides that  finally got the home file server up and running only on linux right now using NFS and it works great ecept when the power is going out but i am fixing that with a new battery backup. While all this time i found another new hobie besides computers PAINTBALL I have been into it for some while i quit because my old paintball gun broke (Tippmann 98 custom). Back bolt of the gun broke also know as the anti chop bolt. I am getting that fixed but also i orderd a new Smart Parts Ion, well about to order a Smart Parts ion with a nitrogen tank and a eletronic hopper with a Virtue QEV. Will post links at the bottom. Yeah its a good chop into my funds for my new computer but i dont care paintballing is fun as hell it hurts pick up new friends and what not. I will post some pics of welts later >_>. But besides that i am working on a new custom kernel for my desktop and server because; i created a custom kernel for laptop with hardy heron and it seems like i get an istant speed boost even thoe wireless didnt work that was an easy fix. I recommend it to people who know what there doing. I am still waiting for Hardy To finally Become a release and i am working on a step by step installtion of it which is going to be a pain in the rear but 100% worth it . Thats about all for right now and please help keep the website populated :).

Okay after sitting here after moving for a while i sort of stayed with my computer and didnt have any real personal life. Right now i still dont think i dont have a personal life that much even thoe i have tons of REAL life friends. In about 2-20 days i will going on a diet to get ready for football hopefully next year. I am probley going to be away for about 6 months having a life because right now i have waisted so much time with all this bull shit. The only time i will be on the computer is when i have projects. Wow Finally my openbox theme onyx apple is finally going to get some use. I was talking to one of my friends on Aim and hes got a new job making some stuff. Well after a while i asked him what theme he was going to use for the openbox/thin client setup. And this is sort of what i got. Hey have you seen the onyx-apple theme yet? Me: i am like yeah i made that theme a couple of months ago. Then i got him the link and what not and hes like yeup you did good job. Just makes my day feel alot better that someone is actually using the theme out there somewhere.
